Quality journalism, rooted in research and facts, is a modern day scarcity.\u00a0 The suffocating and venomous environment produced by Yellow Journalsim in the 21st Century–in other words the mainstream propaganda machine, with its sensationalism and deception–demands alternatives, and eventually replacement with voices of The People, by The People.\u00a0 This is one such initiative– TalkingTruth2Power!<\/p>

No matter what your political perspective or Party affiliation, we can all agree that these are drastic times. Wars and rumors of wars, drastic shifts in geopolitics, natural disasters, internal divide and unrest in nations across the world (no less here in US), religious conflict, racial tension, a market bubble, unaffordable living, a declining dollar, exposed scandals<\/p>

detailing subhuman behavior unlike has ever been described in human history, climate change. These are just some of the themes with respect to current events.<\/p>

Within this context , and applying the knowledge and wisdom accumulated over 45 years, and 25 years of study, research, and expression in the form of the written and spoken word, I embark on this quest to provide a voice of reason that sheds light on issues of the day, on topics of our time, and to do so in the pursuit of constructive dialogue, collaboration and unity, justice and liberty, democracy and Truth.<\/p>

May the message here bring comfort to the troubled, knowledge for the intellectually curious, insight for those seeking answers, and inspiration for those<\/p>

desiring a more just and peaceful world, a world in which all of humanity has access to the types of privileges and opportunities that we were all supposedly promised since the inception of the “American Experiment”, and its founding doctrines and institutions, and that many of us here in US do enjoy.\u00a0<\/p>

Of course, any student of history and the social sciences knows that these opportunities and privileges have come at a great cost, have disproportionately benefited certain families, groups, and classes, and can only be afforded to certain swaths of the global population within the current context of Transnational Monopoly Capitalism, the Global Finance System predominated by the US Dolllar, and Empires enforcement mechanisms, be they military or economic in nature.<\/p>

With that in mind Truth2Power is intended to be a project which promotes a vision for a better world, for good government, for peaceful coexistence between all demographics, and for justice, liberty, and opportunity for all.\u00a0 I do believe this is possible.\u00a0 And I do believe it is our right and our duty to pursue this vision with all our strength and hearts and minds, for the sake of our brother and sisters, for our neighbors, for our childrens children.<\/p>

May God guide me in my pursuit to fulfill the vision and mission of this project, if it is part of His Will.\u00a0 And may Truth2Power always live up to its name, never cowering, never deviating, always proceeding with integrity and conviction.\u00a0 Ameen!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

I belong to the first class of the Millennials (Class of ’99).\u00a0 A Third-Generation Chicano, a Proud LatinAmerican.\u00a0 Raised Christian, in a good home, later to become a Muslim Revert.\u00a0 A recovered addict.\u00a0 A man who overcame\u00a0 terrible mental illness, which plagued me and my family for over a decade.\u00a0 A lifelong student of the Social Sciences, both formally instructed and self-taught.\u00a0 A social activist.\u00a0 And a believer in a better world–in good government, in the lifelong pursuit of excellence, in social justice and equity of opportunity, and in the universal principles of human dignity, liberty and freedom, peaceful coexistence, compassion for one’s brother and neighbor, and charity for the poor and needy.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u00a0The mission of Truth2Power is simple–to defeat Empire one idea at a time, one conversation at a time, one agreement at a time, and with a chorus consisting of a symphony of voices.\u00a0<\/p>

A space for education in pursuit of knowledge. For\u00a0 community empowerment through engagement and collaboration.\u00a0 For strategic mobilization and organization in pursuit of true democracy, liberty, and justice.\u00a0 For relief from the propaganda circulated in mainstream media, and the pettiness peddled on social media.\u00a0<\/p>

A force for good here in US, and abroad, with its emphasis on uplifting and uniting the diverse masses, irregardless of class or creed, of race or nationality, of age or gender, around sound values and principles.\u00a0<\/p>

Furthermore, to serve as a space for constructive dialogue and community engagement on important matters of the day, and on timeless matters of the soul.<\/p>

A nucleus for Calls to Action where appropriate, based on contemporary circumstances and condirions.\u00a0<\/p>

And in pursuit of fulfilling our duty to give generously of the fruits with which we have been blessed to our brothers and sisters, elders and children most in need, Truth2Power will also organize monthly and\/or quarterly charity drives, with 100%<\/p>
