If what we in America have been conditioned to believe about Hamas is true, if they are so barbaric and ruthless, then how is it that now that of all living hostages that were released, we have not heard them speak out about the horrors of captivity, and the barbarism of their captors, that were being echoed the last 2 years by the mass media, politicians and pundits. And certainly, if the hostages were systematically being tortured, starved, raped, etc., then this would be a predominate theme in the mainstream discourse today. Certainly, they would be collectively speaking out. But we hear nothing of this. Absolutely nothing. Instead, and on the contrary, these same hostages have spoken publicly in defense of their captors. These former hostages have spoken highly of their captors, as far as how they were treated and cared for, as well as how much they now respect an empathize with their cause, having experienced a side of this war that few others could relate to. And knowing the hearts of those belonging to the resistance of an illegal and inhumane occupation better than anyone on this side of the world who gets their information from a TV, radio, computer, or smart phone screen.<\/p>\n
