1. What is a Notary Public, and what services do they provide?
A Notary Public is a state-appointed official authorized to verify identities, witness signatures, administer oaths, and notarize eligible documents.

Please bring the complete document requiring notarization and a valid, government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID card, passport, military ID, or another legally acceptable form of identification.

All signers must be present, coherent, willing to sign, and able to communicate directly with the Notary.

A credible witness may be used when legally permitted. You may provide your own qualified witness, or we may be able to arrange one for an additional fee of $30 per witness. Please contact us in advance to discuss your situation.
Yes. We provide mobile notary services and can travel to homes, offices, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, and other agreed-upon locations.
Online notarization may be available for eligible documents and signers. Please contact us with information about your document so we can confirm whether it qualifies.

For a successful notarization:

  • The signer must provide valid identification.
  • The signer must personally appear before the Notary.
  • The signer must understand the document.
  • The signer must be willing to sign without pressure or coercion.
  • The document must be complete and contain no unfilled blank spaces.
  • The signer must take an oath or affirmation when required.
  • The signer must be able to communicate directly with the Notary.

Advance appointments are recommended to ensure a Notary is available at your preferred time and location. Walk-in service should not be assumed unless confirmed in advance.

Yes, same-day appointments may be available depending on the schedule, service type, and travel location. Please contact us as early as possible to check availability.

No. A Notary Public who is not a licensed attorney cannot provide legal advice, select legal documents for you, explain your legal rights, or draft legal documents. Please consult a qualified attorney if you need legal assistance.

We can assist with many commonly notarized documents, including affidavits, acknowledgments, powers of attorney, estate-planning documents, loan documents, consent forms, business documents, and other eligible paperwork.

Yes. We assist with the apostille and document-authentication process for documents intended for use in another country. Requirements and processing times vary depending on the document and destination country.

Yes. BlueSky Notary & Apostille Services, LLC reserves the right to refuse notarization if the signer lacks acceptable identification, appears unwilling or confused, cannot communicate directly with the Notary, or if the document or request does not satisfy legal requirements.
