K and L farm and tree was founded by a woman named Gloria who grew up in a small town in North Carolina. She did not have the luxury of all the conveniences that we have today such as hot, running water and convenient stores just up the street. Instead, she had the desire and motivation to want a better life. Her family did not have much money and had to grow their own fruits and vegetables, in a small plot in their backyard. What started out as a way of survival would turn into a business where she would be able to provide fruits and vegetables and beautiful trees to others using her talents that she grew up on.
