In the time of drought and floods, a storm brews,
in the streets of Los Angeles, in the waters of the Caribbean,
between covetous aims of Empires Leviathon, and the dignity of La Raza Cosmica,
between relentless conquest and righteous resistence–history’s peculiar dialectic,
in which the most noble of mankind’s virtues confront the most debase,
a drama of heroes and villains, tricksters and jesters,
a tragedy of aggression and martyrdom, of sacrifice against being sacrificed,
when Empires ambition is met with the revolutionary chant
El Pueblo Unido, James Sera Vencido–The People United Will Never Be Defeated
and with the unyielding defense of our dignity and God-Given rights, our Motherland and culture, our history and our future,
Vale la pena esta lucha, y estamos puestos a pagar cualquier costo, hasta la Victoria!
It is folly and arrogance to prod the sleeping jaguar–and oh how much more sinister indeed,
And what hypocrisy from those who profess Biblical passages and the supremacy of their theology,
yet defy basic commandments–thou shalt not covet, nor steal, nor murder,
the Gospel of love thy neighbor as thyself, even to love ones enemies,
instead their tongues lash out like vipers,
their arms outstretched towards what is not theirs,
their hands clenched to withhold what they have extracted from the toil and plunder of the bodies and lands of our people,
But beware of Karma, of the universal law of reap what you sow,
for Allah is The Most Just, and surely He is the Best Disposer of Affairs,
And surely The Day of Judgement will come, when none of the devils will have refuge, nor will they be able to intercede on each other’s behalfs,
Their own tongues and hands will testify against them,
And they will be cast into the furthest circle of Hellfire,
Where stones and bodies are its fuel, to dwell in death forever,
This is our promise, and our ultimate hope!
But do not defer, for our duty remains one of individual and collective action,
of self defense, and collective self defense.
In a raging river, we must find our way upstream, preserving innocence and good, freedom and justice, equity and opportunity, dignity and humanity,
our legacy to our children, and our children’s children.
Que Viva La Raza!
